Where It All Began

Our first home wasn't perfect.

It needed vision, patience and plenty of hard work.

Over several years we renovated it room by room, transforming the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, bedrooms and outdoor spaces.

Every project taught us something.

Sometimes it was about design.

Sometimes it was about functionality.

Often it was simply learning what makes a house feel like home.

Eventually we sold that home, taking with us not just the renovation experience, but the confidence to begin a completely new chapter.

The biggest lessons weren't about tiles, paint colours or cabinetry.

They were about creating spaces that made everyday life better.

Moving to the Great Ocean Road wasn't simply about changing houses.

Our current home gives us the opportunity to build a lifestyle that reflects those priorities.

What renovating a 100 year old house taught us reflects on the old features we saved, the interim work we completed and why changing plans did not make that renovation any less worthwhile.
